Ground yourself to be better able to safeguard your wellbeing




We are often influenced by our greed, our laziness to want things the easy way, or our stubbornness to stay within our comfort zone. Worse still, we may be manipulated by our ego and make decisions that do not benefit us and lead to regret.


Being grounded is key to remaining realistic and maintaining a down to earth perspective. While being thus grounded, we become centered and more in touch with how we feel, but nevertheless maintain inner discipline to not go off the rails. This ability to safeguard our wellbeing is the first step towards self-management. This positions us to be our own boss, and fosters a sense of self-accountability to live up to our own standards and expectations. By being self-accountable, we commit to standing by our own principles.
