Learn the mindset of a victor to avoid remaining a victim

Your attitude when confronting adversity is what sets you apart as either a #victim or the #victor. Have you ever said:
I can’t do anything about it.
Why did this happen to me?
It’s unfair!
I feel helpless.
This is language that could commonly be associated with a victim mindset. A victim often feels helpless due to a situation they are trapped in. They often feel angry or lost and take a passive role in dealing with the situation. They act out instead of responding intelligently. In some ways, they deny their choice to take control of their experience. They easily give in to the situation. The victim sometimes gives in to their weakness, or remains stagnated, or hides from the situation.
With the same situation, the victor mindset presents itself as more optimistic and opportunistic. The victor puts up a smart fight against the situation they may be stuck with. The typical mindset of a victor is refusing to play take passive role in a situation. They always try to find a way out of the rut. They reshape their attitude to the situation, decide what they want out of the situation, and take steps to get to where they’d prefer to be.
It’s not that the victor feels no pain or no fear. On the contrary, you can cutivate a victor mindset but still experience hardships and fear. But as a victor, you make a commitment to be responsible for yourself, to take control of the situation and do something about it.
