Foresee and plan for pitfalls, but don’t fear them

Despite your best intentions and planning, it is highly unlikely you will easily achieve your vision without any obstacles. So as much as possible, have contingency plans as backups.

A good rule of thumb is to always have at least 2 backups or options to deal with anything

that may go wrong. Smart planning also involves foreseeing what could go wrong in your plans. Planning for such circumstances helps you lose your fear of them. It is right to wary and cautious, but it is irrational to fear what hasn’t happened yet.

Planning for pitfalls better equips you to deal with them if they arise, which better ensures a smoother recovery. Always give yourself different options to deal with possible pitfalls, but ensure you keep a realistic mind towards available resources and your own abilities.

And remember, a problem can be just an opportunity for growth in disguise. Learn to see them as enjoyable challenges, and each obstacle can become a milestone in your own transformation. Problems only truly remain problems if you do nothing about them. But, problems can also be useful indicators to rethink your current strategy.
